My first brief at Ogilvy Cape Town. Volkswagen hadn't made a new brand commercial for three years and we needed to reinforce their positioning as "The People's Car". It wasn't an easy ask as Volkswagen had just gone through the infamous Dieselgate crisis. This brand commercial not only launched the campaign idea of "Not just a car" but went a long way to restore sentiment for South Africa's most loved vehicle brand. AWARDS Loeries//Bronze//Film
